joining ACE

Our aim and mission is to help you to improve

your magazine and to encourage the effective

telling of the Christian message

There is an annual subscription of £10 per person. This runs from 1st January through 31st December Your first subscription is due with your membership application. Should you be joining after 1st September, then your subscription will run through to the end of the next year. To become a member all you have to do is to complete the membership application form on your computer, print it out and send it along with your subscription of £10 to our Treasurer/Membership Officer (his address is on the form). Fees for our workshops and other events which may be planned for the future are discounted for members. So you may be able to offset some of your subscription if, for instance, you attend one or more of our workshops. We have talked about ways of spreading ACE right across the country and indeed abroad. So what will we be looking for. People are our most important resource. Developing a series of local areas is something that we believe would benefit all our members and bring us into close contact with editors wherever they may be. ACE is a bi-directional organisation. Not only do we aim to help all our members to produce better magazines, we also hope that at least some of our members can offer their skills to other members who may, for instance, be starting out on the venture of producing a magazine for their church. Editing a church magazine is a thrilling job. The world of church magazines is still one in which circulations are increasing. Join ACE and you will play a role in an organisation that supports the growth of Christianity.

Joining the Association is really easy. You can do it online or by

post using the application form on this website, or you may

phone.

Paying your subscription

(Updated 15th August 2018)

There are now four methods of paying your subscription: Bank Standing Order: Paying by standing order from a UK bank account means that, once set-up, your annual subscription will be automatically paid by your bank each year. Internet Banking: If you use internet banking but do not wish to pay by standing order, a one-off payment may be made direct to the Association’s bank account. Payment by cheque: If paying by cheque, please make it payable to “Association for Church Editors” and send it to Alan Rickards at the address shown below. Paypal: This method is available for overseas members or for UK members wishing to pay by debit/credit card. If you wish to pay your subscription on-line by standing order please click here to e-mail Alan Rickards, our treasurer, or phone him for details.
