A great day was had by attendees of our rescheduled 2022 Annual Meeting that took place on Saturday 15th October 2022 in The Chapel of Westminster Central Hall, London.
We were honoured to have Lord Leslie Griffiths, our Patron, as Keynote Speaker in the morning, having just arrived back from Strasbourg the afternoon before. He gave a most interesting, entertaining and uplifting talk which we all enjoyed.
After a short AGM and lunch we welcomed Keith Milmer, a previous ACE Chairman, who gave us tips and reminders as well as food for thought about photographs in our magazines. He also answered questions with practical demonstrations of what to do.
The Award winners were then announced in reverse order and presented with their certificates and trophies while photos were taken for use in their magazines and wider church publications.
The afternoon closed with prayer.

Lord Leslie Griffiths
We are very fortunate to have Lord Leslie Griffiths as the Patron of ACE. He is a preacher, public speaker, writer and broadcaster. He was born in Burry Port, on the South West coast of Wales in 1942. He began his ministry as a local preacher in the Methodist church in 1963 and was a minister in Haiti during most of the 70s before returning to England to serve in several urban ministries. He became President of the Methodist Conference in 1994, and in this role was the spiritual and administrative leader of the Methodists in Britain. He became Superintendent Minister at Wesley’s chapel in 1996, where he was a popular and respected leader. He was made a life peer in 2004 and in 2011 was appointed the 13th President of the Boy’s Brigade. With such an amazing résumé we very much look forward to hearing him speak at our ACE annual meeting.
1.30pm Talk by Keith Milmer, former Chairman of ACE
